Business context

Rental teams coordinate reservations, available stock, departures, returns, and billing while serving customers at the counter. A change to one reservation can affect availability, pricing, and the next rental. The software needs to keep that operational context connected across its planning view, customer records, and mobile tools.

My responsibility

I work on this as part of Cilea's software team under a B2B contract, across both the backend services and the web and mobile front ends. It is my largest front-end footprint at Cilea.

Solution

Work spanning the length of a rental: reservation creation and modification, rental lists with quick status actions, promotional codes and pricing grids, return adjustments, and insurance integration. On the money side, invoice previews, discounts, client-balance exports with period bounds, average-basket and revenue statistics, and dashboard charts with filters. Rental vouchers and departure/return reminders go out by email on templates rebuilt to the CileaMoov design system. The React Native application gives counter staff reservation search, creation, and the same barcode scanner component the web panel uses, so the two do not drift apart. Throughout: internationalization and multi-currency, because a campsite on the border serves customers who do not share a language.

Technology

A shared core package carries what every Cilea product needs — queues, mail, PDF generation, search — so the rental domain only holds rental logic. Elasticsearch backs the list and search screens that would otherwise scan large reservation histories on every keystroke.
